LLOSA DEL CAVALL RESERVOIR



The reservoir of Llosa del Cavall ( you can find it as Losa del Caballo) is a reservoir in Catalonia, Spain, which is on the Cardener river, a tributary of the Llobregat river, in the so-called Vall de Lord, in Lérida. The dam is located in the municipality of Navés and the reservoir extends through the municipalities of Navés, Guixers and a small portion of that of San Llorenç de Morunys, in the Solsonés region, between the Busa mountain range, to the east, and Capdevila, to the west...

LES FONTS DEL CARDANER



It rises at an altitude of approximately 1,100 m, Les Fonts del Cardaner, located in a valley between the mountain ranges of Port del Comte (2332 m) and Verde (2,271 m), in the municipality of La Coma and La Piedra (Lleida), and flows into the Llobregat River in the municipality of Castellgalí, after 87 km of travel. On its course are the reservoirs of Llosa del Cavall and Sant Ponç, located respectively in the municipalities of San Llorenç de Morunys and Clariana de Cardener. The latter was designed in 1921. LA FONT DE LA PUDA

SANCTUARY OF MARE DE DEU DE LORD



The sanctuary is located on a rocky outcrop, on the Mola de Lord, dominating the entire valley of Lord. Documented since the end of the 10th century as an ancient hermitage, in the 11th century it became part of the monastery of San Llorenç de Morunys. In the 15th century a church was built, and between 1582 and 1634 a community of Dominican friars was established. COLL DE JOU VIEWPOINT



From Coll de Jou, following the signpost and walking about 10 minutes you reach the viewpoint of Creu del Codó with a large railing on the rock, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of Sant Llorenç de Morunys and the reservoir of La Llosa del Cavall.
With a simple Google search on the Coll de Jou viewpoint you will find many routes and trails where you can have a good time hiking.

NO KILL FISHING AND BATHING IN CARDENER RIVER



The Cardener is a river of Catalonia (Spain) that has an average flow of 6.5 m3/s. It rises at an altitude of approximately 1100 m, in the Fuentes del Cardener, located in a valley between the mountains of Port del Comte (2332 m) and the Verd (2271 m), in the municipality of Coma y Pedra (Lleida), and flows into the Llobregat river in the municipality of Castellgalí, after 87 km of travel.

ROUTE FROM CAL MOSQUETA TO LA FONT DE LA PUDA AT 500 MTS



We leave from the current Cal Mosqueta which was the old sawmill next to the river where the road becomes a path that climbs through some terroirs and then enters a forest of red pine, always above the river. We continue along the road and we will see how the path joins a road that we will follow heading north, crossing the river in lever and we will arrive at the Font de la Puda.
